Chu, Philip Zai of Baldwin, NY was born in Wen Zhou China and traveled the world as a merchant seaman until finally settling down in the US. He was a co-owner of Sea Lucky Restaurant in Far Rockaway, NY. A devoted father to his daughter Siau Fung Carlo and the beloved grandfather of Alexander Carlo. He was a loyal friend, and it was said by many that he never met a stranger. The family will receive friends at Cecere Family Funeral Home located at 2283 Grand Ave. Baldwin, NY 11510 on Friday, Dec 7 at 1-3pm and 7-9pm with an additional viewing on Saturday, Dec 8 at 10-11am.
