Loving son of the late Herman Saunders Sr. and Isabelle Chilman. Loving brother of Joyce Walters and the late Carl. Cherished uncle of Christine and Kathleen. Herman was a proud veteran of WW II, served with the 99th infantry division and was a P.O.W. during the “Battle of the Bulge”. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Baldwin American Legion. The family will receive friends Monday 12/26 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. at Cecere Family Funeral Home 2283 Grand Ave. Baldwin, N.Y. 11510.
