Helen Powers

Helen Powers, formerly of Roosevelt, reposed peacefully in the Lord on March 25, 2012 at the age of 101. Helen was the daughter of John and Clothilda Feist Epping. She was married to Cyril F. Powers for 53 years until his repose in 1987. Loving and devoted mother of: Barbara Cody (Allan Macdonald), Joanne Powers (John Rosenbach), and Margaret Powers. Cherished grandmother of: Michael Cody, William Cody, Kevin Cody (fiancé Barbara Slattery), Barbara (James Fitzpatrick), Kathleen Fitzgerald, Peggy Kump, Judy Kump, Catherine Kump (Charles Hayner). Beloved great-grandmother to Lauren Fitzpatrick, Emily Fitzpatrick, Erin Fitzgerald, Cody Fitzgerald, Jason Dincauze, Danielle Dincauze, and Anne Lily Mei-Hua Kump. Helen will be remembered for her devotion to Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church and its outreach program.
 Visiting at Cecere Family Funeral Home 2283 Grand Avenue Baldwin, NY on Thursday Mar. 29th from 7:00-9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Centennial Ave, Roosevelt, Friday March 30th 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
