About Us

In 1940, the Weigand Brothers opened their Baldwin Funeral Home in a beautiful victorian house on Grand Avenue built by Frances Baldwin in 1859. Michael J. Cecere, III, a second generation funeral director began working for the Weigand family in 1990. After Jack Weigand passed away in 1997, the business was purchased by Richard Pensa, a long time employee and Michael continued to work with Dick and his family. In 2004, the Pensas retired and Michael Cecere purchased the funeral home and business.
