Parks, Marion W. resident of Baldwin for over 56 years. Born Dorothea Marion Weeks on October 29, 1922 in Cooperstown, N.Y. and raised in Skaneateles, N.Y. Oldest daughter of Dorothea (Whitbeck) and G. Roswell Weeks. Predeceased by husband Lt. Joseph L. Sisto (USMCR), killed on Iwo Jima in 1945 and her husband G. Everett Parks, Jr. who died in 1980. Devoted mother of Georgia Radford Parks, Tracey Ventress Parks and G. Everett Parks, III. Dear mother in law of Terri A. (Giretti) Parks. Adored grandmother of Nicole Giovanna (Annucci) and her husband Joseph Ghirardi, Alison Parks, G. Everett Parks, IV and Anthony Alfred Parks. Beloved sister of Theodora (Teddy) Huxford. Also survived by several brothers in law, sisters in law, many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Graduate of Skaneateles High School class of 1940 and Syracuse University class of 1944. Proud sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Avid reader, lover of music (especially classical), ancient cultures, Greek and Roman mythology, the Discovery Channel, Breakfast with the Arts, the Antique Road Show and many years at Jones Beach.
